Über die Ausfällung von Schwermetallen und die Einhaltung von gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Grenzwerten des Abwassers

Bei der Ausfällung von Schwermetallen aus dem Abwasser (als Schwermetall-Hydroxide) sind neben dem pH-Wert die Anwesenheit von Komplexbildnern zu berücksichtigen. Die Einhaltung gesetzlich vorgeschriebener Grenzwerte wird dadurch teilweise beeinträchtigt. Es ist nötig, nicht nur die Konzentration zu berücksichtigen, sondern auch die Gegebenheiten der Kanalisation bzw. die Gesamtmenge der abgegebenen Schwermetall-Gehalte.
This paper deals with the precipitation of heavy metals in effluents (by transformation into heavy metal hydroxides). In this process two factors of equal importance are to be observed: the pH-value and the presence of complex forming agents. In order to conform with the legal stipulations issued on this subject, t. e. remain within the specified limits, it is essentia! to observe not only the effluent concentration, but, moreover, the size of sewage system available on site, i. e. the total amount of heavy metal contents to be discharged into the drains.
