Während Teil 1 des Aufsatzes sich mit den Aufgaben der Reinigung, mit Formen und Arten der Kontamination, dem Reinigungsprozess selbst und auch mit der Oberflächenchemie der Werkstoffe beschäftigte, informiert der vorliegende Teil 2 über Reinigungssysteme, wie diese optimiert werden können und mögliche Probleme beim Reinigungsvorgang. Außerdem, wie sinnvolle Anlagentechnik diese vermeiden hilft. // 
Part 1 of the article dealt with the purpose of cleaning, the forms and types of contamination, the cleaning process itself, and also with the surface chemistry of the materials. Part 2 as presented here is meant to inform about the cleaning systems, how these can be optimized, and about possible problems in the cleaning process. Plus, how a fitting equipment technology will help avoiding these problems.
