Risikomanagement ist von der Sache her nichts Neues und wird in der Galvanik schon an vielen Stellen betrieben. Eine der größten Risikoanalysen auf dem Gebiet des UMS fand in vielen Galvaniken mit der Einführung der Störfallverordnung statt: wird planmäßig vorbeugende Instandhaltung betrieben, wird das Ausfallrisiko der Anlagen eingeschätzt und die entsprechenden Teile durch Ersatzteile erneuert, um das Ausfallrisiko zu senken? //
