Zur medizinischen Befunderhebung in Hohlorganen des menschlichen Körpers existiert neben der Computertomografie (CT) und der Magnetresonanz-tomographie (MRT) auch die Sonografie. Dabei wird in die nichtinvasive und invasive Ultraschallbildgebung unterteilt. Die invasive Untersuchungsmethode von Hohlorganen soll in diesem Zusammenhang mit einer funktionalisierten Katheterspitze erfolgen. Im Vordergrund steht die konstruktiv-technologische Realisierbarkeit eines geeigneten Funktionsdemonstrators, der eine Bildgebung ermöglicht, die bei Untersuchung mit MRT und CT nicht möglich ist. Die klinische Anwendung wird zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt angestrebt.
For medical diagnostic assessment in the hollow organs of the human body in addition to the computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasonography exists. Thereby the imaging is divided into the non-invasive and invasive ultrasound imaging. The invasive imaging method of hollow organs should take place with a functionalized tip of the catheter. The main focus is the constructive-technological feasibility of a suitable functional demonstrator, which allows imaging that is not possible with investigation by MRI and CT. The clinical application is desired at a later date.
