The HR-10-DOS reflow oven from Paggen makes it possible to solder even critical SMD assemblies conveniently and safely at a remarkable price/performance ratio. The compact tabletop unit achieves outstanding energy transfer through the combination of IR radiation and convection heat. This combination enables narrow process windows, which are particularly necessary when working with lead-free solders. Sophisticated heat shields minimize the negative factors in the area of visible IR radiation and thus lead to very good soldering results.
The soldering process itself is controlled either via the display on the device, a smartphone or via the 7" tablet supplied. Up to 99 different soldering, preheating or drying programs can be saved. The portable device also displays process-relevant observation values of the currently running program and saves them with the respective date/time stamp. This means that the process can be documented and documented later. After the soldering process, the drawer is automatically removed from the heating chamber and the circuit board is cooled from below by fans. A new soldering process can begin. An optional solder fume extraction system is available to extract the soldering fumes and shorten the cooling time. The HR-10-DOS can also be operated with nitrogen.
