This year, embedded world will take place in Nuremberg from March 11 - 13. In addition to numerous exhibition stands presenting products and services for embedded systems, the embedded world Conference and the electronic displays Conference, which will be held in parallel, will once again offer top-level expertise.
Top-class speakers from research, development and practice will share their knowledge with trade fair visitors. They will not only shed light on the state of the art, but also on developments in the industry. Exhibitor forums in the exhibition halls enable an intensive exchange of knowledge. In addition, female experts from the industry will once again have the opportunity to meet, get to know each other and exchange ideas - at a networking event for women.

Networking event for women
This year, the networking event for women in the embedded systems industry is entering its third round. On March 13, 2025, all women in the industry will have the opportunity to network, inspire and learn from each other at the trade fair. The aim of the event is to intensify contact between women in the industry and get them talking to each other.
Session 'Trustworthy Embedded Devices'
Nils Albartus, EmproofTherich conference program also includes a session on trustworthy embedded systems (Tuesday, March 11, 11:00 - 12:45). Benjamin Baratte, STMicroelectronics, points out the importance of brand protection and consumer security and explains how identification and authentication of devices can be improved - with digital and physical methods. Dr. Martin Neumann, infoteam Software, warns that attacks on the supply chain could be one of the top five cyber threats by 2040 - for example, if companies are targeted by attacks on individual suppliers. Dr. Neumann will show which strategies small, medium-sized and large companies should pursue and what effective risk management can look like. Nils Albartus, Emproof, will also address the question of how potential attackers can exploit embedded systems and the gateways offered by software reverse engineering. He will provide an overview of the attackers' tools of the trade, such as the NSA software Ghidra, which can be used for attacks. But defenses are also available, including advanced binary rewriting techniques for software protection.
Session 'Advances in Automotive Displays'
The presentation session on current developments in automotive displays (Wednesday, March 12, 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.) will also be of interest. Dr. Kai Li, Tianma Microelecronics, will show how the service life of self-luminous displays (OLED and micro OLED) in automobiles has improved enormously and what can be expected in the areas of encapsulation, backplane, electrical control and new materials. Dr. Alberto Sanchez Castillo, BHTC, builds a bridge between the flexibility of OLED technology and automotive design and illustrates this with the example of the new BMW Mini, where the companies BMW, BHTC and Samsung combine their expertise in the integration of round free-form OLEDs. And Demetrio Galindez, Antolin, presents the Sunrise cockpit concept from Antolin and VIA Optronics, which is designed for the seamless transition between manual and autonomous driving.
