Photocad has gone one better with its online service: SMD printing stencils can now also be ordered via smartphone. "I can't imagine an even more convenient and faster way at the moment," says the Head of Sales and Marketing at Axel Meyer with conviction. After all, customer orders are now processed 100% digitally, and this has proven to be extremely effective for customers - "so it was a logical consequence to also enable the ordering and configuration of SMD stencils via mobile devices."
Last December, the print stencil manufacturer updated its apps for both IOS and Android users accordingly. Compatibility for current IOS/Android versions was expanded and at the same time use with earlier versions was secured. This means that customers can also use the app with any older smartphone or tablet without any problems. In addition to the product advisor, a tool that enables the optimum SMD stencil to be found with just a few clicks, a direct ordering option has also been integrated.
With the new Dark Mode, the customer smartphone display also works better in low-light environments - for example in the workshop. The display is then darkened and therefore dazzles less than a brightly lit screen - something already familiar from car navigation devices. The app is available free of charge in the app stores.
