The NCAB Group has signed an agreement to acquire the printed circuit board division of DVS Global in Italy. NCAB intends to further strengthen its position in the Italian market.
The international PCB supplier and manufacturer NCAB, headquartered in Sundbyberg, Sweden, is acquiring the PCB division of the Italian DVS Group. The SEK 200 million (approx. € 17.12 million) transaction is expected to close in September, with an additional performance-related earn-out payment of up to SEK 45 million (approx. € 3.85 million). The DVS experts will remain with the company on a transitional basis. In the future, DVS intends to focus on the remaining business area 'Teknokit' for printed circuits and plastic parts made of thermoplastic resins such as ABS, PC, PP, PE and PMMA. They are manufactured for keyboards and control elements, among other things.
DVS was founded in2003. In addition to its headquarters in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, the company has branches in Switzerland, America and China. Annual sales of the PCB division, which employs 31 people, amounted to SEK 230 million (approx. €19.7 million) in 2023. The current annual EBITA level is almost SEK 40 million (approx. € 3.42 million). Sales are primarily aimed at Italian customers in the industrial and automotive sectors. NCAB expects the acquisition to lead to an increase in profits in 2025 and hopes to achieve synergies for suppliers, payment terms and logistics. Peter Kruk, CEO of NCAB, described the acquisition as an "important addition for NCAB Italy". The business concept of DVS is similar and the company has a strong market position as it is located close to many electronics companies in Lombardy and Veneto. NCAB had previously acquired the Italian companies Prevent (2021) and BBC (2022). Denis Vigo and Paolo Facco from DVS Global also expressed their confidence. Their company wanted to expand its business and offer customers more options.
