The internationally active NCAB Group, headquartered in Sundbyberg (Sweden), has today acquired the German PCB manufacturer db electronic, based in Waldshut-Tiengen in southern Germany, db electronic AG in Switzerland and db electronic SAS in France. All three companies will be consolidated into the NCAB Group with immediate effect.
db electronic is primarily focused on so-called 'quick turnarounds', i.e. smaller series with short delivery times. They source their printed circuit boards mainly from South Korean factories. Around 85% of db electronic's turnover comes from Germany, with Switzerland and France accounting for around 15% and 5% respectively. The company employs around 20 people. Turnover in 2022 amounted to € 11 million with an EBITA margin of around 15%.
The NCAB Group expects the acquisition to generate synergy effects in the areas of suppliers, payment terms and logistics.
