Ralph Knecht is no longer Chairman of the Management Board of Kurtz Ersa.
According to Dietmar Straub, Chairman of the company's Advisory Board, it has been agreed with Knecht to "go their separate ways in future", as the 'Fränkische Post' and 'Main-Echo' both reported at the beginning of October. Thomas Mühleck, the company's CFO, will take over responsibility as CEO "on a transitional basis and in addition to his current duties". No reasons were given for the decision.
Ralph Knecht took over as CEO from Rainer Kurtz at the beginning of last year.
As a machine builder and manufacturer of soldering tools and soldering and desoldering stations, Kurtz Ersa employs around 1,500 people worldwide, around 1,000 of them in Germany. In 2022, the company generated sales of around €360 million.
