The EU wants to reduce its dependence on Asian manufacturers and strengthen the European production of semiconductor components and systems. The company ALTER | HTV has invested in this environment. The TÜV NORD GROUP subsidiary has invested more than €1 million in new test technologies by purchasing the V93K EXA Scale Chip Tester and the fully automatic ACCRETECH UF2000 wafer prober for wafer-based electrical chip testing, which is characterized by a positioning accuracy of ±1.5 µm. Both test systems are from Advantest.
