The two embedded companies hema electronic and Enclustra are cooperating in the sale of FPGA-based system-on-modules (SoM) and customer-specific project developments. To this end, they have signed a cooperation agreement which is intended to offer customers of both companies greater proximity in future, improved technical support and the rapid implementation of customer-specific projects.
A joint technology platform for FPGA-based embedded vision systems has already been developed in the past and is now being used in several customer projects. The next step is now to expand sales and services with the new sales office in Aalen, southern Germany. The Swiss FPGA specialist Enclustra will be offering its products in the field of standardized FPGA modules via a branch office at the hema site from 1 May. Hema has long been offering the development of customer-specific base boards based on Enclustra's range of modern system-on-modules (SoM), e.g. for analog video data processing, optical inspection tasks or rapid prototyping.
