The EMS service provider A+B Electronic from Huntlosen, Lower Saxony, is investing in the expansion of its production areas and will install two new SMD lines in November.
The conversion will be completed in calendar weeks 47 and 48. The company is replacing an older Juki SMD line with a modern FUJI NXTR-S line. It enables the assembly of longer PCBs up to 750 mm. At the same time, a stencil printer from ASMPT, an SPI system from Viscom and a reflow oven from SMT are being replaced. According to A+B Electronic, current orders are not affected by the conversion. SMD orders will be brought forward and assemblies will be kept in stock so that delivery deadlines can be met. The company from Lower Saxony hopes that the modernization will further increase its performance and enable it to offer customers even more efficient production solutions.
