Andreas Walter 'Andy' Mattes is a German-American top manager who studied business administration at the University of Munich. After two decades at Siemens, he held management positions at Hewlett-Packard in California for seven years. This was followed by positions as CEO of Diebold. He was then a Senior Advisor at McKinsey with a focus on business transformation. From 2020 to 2022, he was President and CEO of Coherent - a manufacturer of lasers and photonics solutions - and implemented the successful sale of this company. Mattes has extensive experience on the supervisory boards of various listed companies.
