AOI specialist Mirtec reports record sales for 2019 in its North American markets. "Not only is 2019 the most successful year in our company's history," says Brian D'Amico, President of Mirtec Corp, "it's also our ninth consecutive year of record sales." D'Amico attributes the strong growth to three current system lines: the MV-6 Omni In-Line 3D AOI system, the MV-3 Omni Desktop 3D AOI system, and the MS-11e 3D SPI system for the expanding and highly competitive SMT market.
MV-6 OMNI combines Mirtec's proprietary 15-MPixel CoaXPress camera technology with proprietary Omni-Vision 3D Digital Tri-Frequency Moiré technology for precise inspection of SMT components on fully assembled PCBs. The proven MV-3 Omni Desktop 3D AOI system as the top-of-the-line model is configured with the same hardware and software as the in-line Omni-Vision 3D inspection system. It offers full compatibility across the 3D AOI product line.
The MS-11E 3D SPI machine is also equipped with the 15 MP CoaXPress vision system. It delivers the highest image quality and accuracy at an exceptionally high inspection rate and uses shadow-free moiré phase-shift technology with dual projection to inspect solder paste application on PCBs after screen printing for deformity or bridging.
