A new eight-member Executive Board was elected on November 11, 2024 at the general meeting of the Productronics division of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA).
Following their election, the Board is made up of Josef Ernst, ASMPT, Dr. Michael Fischer, KURTZ, Dr. Mauritz Möller, Trumpf, Carsten Salewski, Viscom, Dr. Günther Schmauz, acp-Systems, Siegfried Seidl, F&S Bondtec, Dr. Hildegard Sung-Spitzl, iplas, and Oliver Vogt, Fäth. Carsten Salewski was unanimously elected Chairman of the specialist department, with Dr. Mauritz Möller as his deputy. Volker Pape, Viscom, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Schmutz, acp-Systems, left the Executive Board. The members' meeting took place at the ASMPT company in Munich and was accompanied by specialist presentations on the field of advanced packaging.
