New Managing Director at the Association for Sensors and Measurement

The AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement has started the new year with a change in management. Since January 1, 2025, Philipp Gutmann has headed the association, succeeding Thomas Simmons, who shaped the association for over 17 years.

Philipp Gutmann brings with him extensive experience in the areas of marketing and communication. In recent years, he has mainly supported medium-sized companies and has worked in various sectors, including automotive, electronics and healthcare. He has worked for companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Siemens, Infineon, Airbus Defense & Space, MAN and Pfeiffer Vacuum. He gained extensive insights into the challenges and opportunities of the industry and specialized in strategic communication concepts, brand management and technology transfer.
