Back in 2008, the SMD stencil manufacturer PhotoCad from Berlin opted for a deposit system and recycling of the sturdy stencil mailing bags. According to the company, a recycling rate of over 85% is achieved in the online store. This means that the requirements of the current packaging laws of 2019 have already been met. PhotoCad refunds customers one euro for web plates for the return of each envelope and then returns the envelope to the recycling loop. This means that the SMD stencils are not only sent quickly and safely, but are also disposed of sustainably.
