In early summer, one month later than usual, the established trade fairs 'SMTconnect' and 'PCIM Europe' will once again open their doors together. Between June 11-13, companies will be presenting their innovations in the fields of electronics manufacturing ('SMTconnect') and power electronics ('PCIM Europe') at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center.
For the first time, the organizer 'mesago' is highlighting the dovetailing of the two trade fairs - with an explicit double press conference on 16.4.2024. It is intended to strengthen the combined reporting and provide insights into the future of power electronics and electronics manufacturing.
The background to this is likely to be the growing importance of 'PCIM Europe', whose visitor numbers have risen sharply in recent years. Accordingly, an additional hall will be available for the power electronics trade fair in 2024. Industry observers have been expecting a merger with 'SMTconnect' for some time and suspect that both trade fairs could benefit from this.
