The globally active machine manufacturer Kurtz Ersa, headquartered in Kreuzwertheim in Lower Franconia, Germany, took over the business operations of the insolvent company ATV Technologie in Vaterstetten near Munich on September 1, 2025.
With around 50 employees, ATV Technologie develops, produces and supplies high-temperature vacuum reflow soldering machines for the chip industry, which are required for the process step of contacting the wafer with external leads. The acquisition marks Kurtz Ersa's entry into the market for production systems for the semiconductor industry. All ATV Technologie employees will be taken over and the first joint trade fair appearance is planned for productronica 2025 in November.
