Takeover of EMS service provider as part of age succession

V. l. n. r.: Bernd Muskatewitz (Betriebsleiter, ppa., electronic concept), Gisbert Sänger (bisheriger Inhaber electronic concept), André C. Haiber (Geschäftsführer elbe-Gruppe, nun auch electronic concept), Knut Mehnert (bisheriger Inhaber, electronic concept), Volker Klein (Leiter Verwaltung und Vertrieb, ppa., electronic concept) (Bild: electronic concept)

The elbe Group from Ettlingen, Baden-Württemberg, has taken over the EMS service provider electronic concept from nearby Gaggenau with economic effect from January 1, 2025.

The operational transfer took place on August 1 of this year. The family-run elbe Group is thus continuing its growth strategy and expanding its range of services to include measurement technology, aviation and medical technology applications.

The companies have a long history of working together as partners, which will now be continued under the motto 'better.together'. Both locations will remain the same. André C. Haiber, CEO of elbe electronic, who has now also become the new Managing Director of electronic concept, expressed his great satisfaction: "We found an excellently functioning company that is largely independent of its owners and at the cutting edge of technology, which can be optimally continued and further developed together with the team."

The merger took place as part of the succession process. Thirty years ago, Knut Mehnert and Gisbert Sänger founded electronic concept in Gaggenau and led it to success.
