The book contains the publisher's collected knowledge on over 940 pages and consists of real practical questions from our readers, which are answered competently and in depth by experienced experts. The oldest articles included in the book date back to the 1930s and extend to the year 2023.
The content consists of 12 main chapters, the first 11 of which follow the process chain of electroplating. The last chapter contains 45 very old articles whose technical information is outdated, but whose questions and/or answers can be considered historical curiosities.
The book comprises 345 individual articles with practical problems and solutions. The 944-page book with 88 illustrations and 40 tables covers almost the entire world of electroplating, including plant engineering, environmental technology and quality assurance.
All articles have been completely revised. The texts have been refined and appear in a modern layout. In addition, all texts have been converted to the new spelling rules. Where articles contained drawings, these have been completely redrawn. Outdated photos have been replaced with modern images or at least digitally enhanced, where possible.
The target audience consists of practitioners and trainees. It is the perfect reference work, whether for researching specific problems or simply browsing.
