At the electronic displays Conference on March 1 and 2, 2025, the latest research and development results will be presented to an expert audience. This year's English-language conference will once again focus on specialist presentations on various topics such as display technologies, supply chains, display components and market overviews.
The specialist audience from the industry can find out about and discuss display interfaces for the automotive industry, new touch technologies, haptic feedback technologies, new display applications and applications of augmented and virtual reality.
Session 'Advances in Automotive Displays'
A lecture session on current developments in automotive displays (Wednesday, March 12, 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.) will also be of interest.
- Dr. Kai Li, Tianma Microelecronics, will show how the lifespan of self-luminous displays (OLED and micro OLED) in automobiles has improved enormously and what can be expected in the areas of encapsulation, backplane, electrical control and new materials.
- Dr. Alberto Sanchez Castillo, BHTC, builds a bridge between the flexibility of OLED technology and automotive design and illustrates this with the example of the new BMW Mini, where the companies BMW, BHTC and Samsung combine their expertise in the integration of round free-form OLEDs.
- Demetrio Galindez, Antolin, presents the Sunrise cockpit concept from Antolin and VIA Optronics, which is designed for the seamless transition between manual and autonomous driving.
