embedded world Exhibition & Conference 2023

embedded world Exhibition & Conference 2023

The event brings together the who's who of the embedded community. The exhibitors present the state of the art in all facets of embedded technologies, from components, modules and complete systems to operating systems and software, hardware and software tools and services for embedded systems.

With the claim 'embedded. responsible. sustainable', Exceutive Director Benedikt Weyerer 2023 will "focus on central future topics in the embedded industry". Where do embedded systems help to make the digital world more sustainable? How can the embedded industry operate more sustainably? Which points define a responsible approach to AI? What is behind the EU Cyber Resilience Act?

The Panel Discussions at the embedded world Exhibition & Conference 2023 provide material for intensive discussions. "The importance of embedded systems can hardly be overestimated when it comes to sustainability," emphasizes Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, Chairman of the embedded world Conference, with a view to the sustainability topic of the century. The Steering Board curated 65 sessions in nine tracks and 19 classes from over 360 submissions. 200 speakers from 26 countries will share their knowledge. The three keynotes hit the nerve of the times: Daniel Cooley, CTO of Silicon Labs, talks about "Charting the Connected Future". Prof. Dr.-Ing. Albert Heuberger, Fraunhofer IIS, will address the role of chip design and production for Europe's technological sovereignty. Prof. Ali Hessami, Chair IEEE P7000 Technology Ethics Standard, will deal with ethical issues in connection with AI and autonomous systems.

The electronic displays Conference (edC) 2023, which is taking place at the same time, will focus on technical developments in automotive and industrial displays, interfaces, touch with optical bonding and micro-LEDs. A keynote session with analyses of the global development of the display market will open the conference. The program reflects the dynamics of the display industry. "The display community is already looking forward to Nuremberg to experience innovations at first hand and make new contacts. The focus is also on the electronic displays area at the trade fair, because seeing is believing," says edC Chairman Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach.
