Last December, Photocad updated its apps for both IOS and Android users to the latest version. Nevertheless, customers can still use the app with practically any older smartphone or tablet without any problems.
"There is currently no more convenient way to order SMD printing stencils via smartphone," says Axel Meyer, Head of Sales and Marketing at Photocad.
In addition to the product advisor, which makes it possible to find the optimal SMD stencil, a direct ordering option is now also integrated. "As our orders are processed 100% digitally - it's simply the most effective way for our customers - it was a logical step to also enable the ordering and configuration of SMD stencils via mobile devices. To this end, we have implemented the latest software findings in our Photocad app."
With the new 'Dark Mode', the customer's smartphone display also works better in dark surroundings - for example in the workshop. The display is darkened and therefore dazzles less than a brightly lit one. It is easier on the eyes and also saves energy.
The improved 'user interface' for the product advisor makes operation and therefore the optimum calculation of, for example, thickness, openings or number of printing cycles for the SMD printing stencils even easier. The customer gains security and time, as the calculated result is immediately transferred to the configuration of his stencil. Use of the Photocad app is still free of charge.
