After leaving school, trained as an energy systems electronics technician from 1981 to become a specialist technician in mechanical engineering companies. 1986-1987 basic military service. From 1987 further training as an electrical engineer at a technical college specializing in information electronics. From 1989 employed in the electronics laboratory at the Institute for Nuclear Physics at Darmstadt Technical University - parallel development and production of ADwin measurement and control systems. From 1994 development to managing partner (from 2001) of Kraus Hardware GmbH in Großostheim - today an EMS service provider with 25 employees, a turnover of over 5 million euros and around 100 active customers.
