Most waste from galvanic, chemical and physical surface treatment contains environmentally hazardous or toxic substances that make disposal an organizational and financial challenge. The valuable metals remaining in the waste are lost in the process.

WRC GmbH has been processing such waste for over 25 years using modern, technologically sophisticated processes. Companies that operate their own wastewater treatment facilities can have filter cake or sludge recycled by WRC. However, WRC also accepts untreated liquids and recycles them in the company's own CPA. Dust, powder and slag can also be processed in the plants. The WRC metal concentrates produced from the waste are then fed back into the material cycle as secondary raw materials.
