factronix GmbH presents the fully automatic HyperSWASH cleaning system from the manufacturer PBT Works. The new high-performance cleaning system has been specially developed for the fast and efficient cleaning of assemblies, DCBs, hybrids and stencils.
The cleaning process in the electronics industry has become significantly more complex. In particular, the requirements for bath monitoring and process traceability are constantly increasing. A reproducible cleaning process is essential, especially when cleaning highly sensitive substrates or hybrids. With HyperSWASH from PBT Works, the entire process chain can be recorded and traced. In combination with concentration measurement technology, such as the Zestron Eye, the chemicals concentration and the individual rinsing and drying processes are automatically checked, recorded and adjusted. The Zestron Eye is not tied to individual cleaning media and works with all aqueous cleaning processes.
Flexibility for the user is the top priority with HyperSWASH. There are three different configuration options to choose from. The "Combo" configuration allows the operator to wash up to three cleaning baskets simultaneously. With easy-to-change spray arms, the user can react quickly and cost-effectively to the latest cleaning requirements at any time. Our customers benefit from significantly shorter process run times than with conventional cleaning systems.
The HyperSWASH from PBT Works is also characterized by its market-leading linear spray technology. The focus is on the homogeneous spray pattern and the close distance to the items to be cleaned, which means that ultra-fine cleaning is not a problem even with 'low stand-off' components. Drying has been optimized by a hot air knife attached to the spray arm, enabling a particularly efficient drying process.
The trend towards automation continues to develop towards a fully autonomous cleaning system. The HyperSWASH can therefore also implement fully automatic loading. The items to be cleaned are automatically transported into the chamber by a transport trolley and discharged automatically once the cleaning process is complete. The HyperSWASH from PBT Works is therefore designed for fully automated production based on the rules of Industry 4.0.
