What to do if a required component is no longer available or has too long a delivery time? One possible solution is to use an interposer. An interposer is an electronic interface routing between two connections with the aim of redirecting one connection to another connection. For example, an alternative, available component can be applied to a circuit board that has the appropriate connections to the original circuit board and thus serves as an adapter to apply the alternative component to the original circuit board.
