On January 1, 2025, Jock Bartolo took over the management of aqua plus, succeeding company founder Walter Baur. The company, based in Böbingen, is part of MacDermid Envio Solutions and a leading provider of industrial wastewater treatment.
Bartolo, who moved from ProMinent to MacDermid Envio Solutions in July 2024, is also responsible for the Europe and Asia regions as Regional Director. This dual role enables him not only to lead the German company aqua plus, but also to drive forward sustainable solutions in wastewater treatment internationally. "The future of aqua plus lies in strengthening innovation and sustainability," says Bartolo. "I look forward to implementing this focus together with our talented team worldwide." Under his leadership, aqua plus will continue to deepen its expertise in sustainable wastewater treatment, because sustainability is not a short-term trend, but an integral part of MacDermid Envio's corporate strategy.
