The ZVO Surface Days came to a successful close on September 13, 2024 with a wealth of presentations as well as professional and personal encounters. 550 participants came to Leipzig to experience the 98 specialist presentations. It was a challenge to follow the parallel presentations in the five lecture halls.
In addition, 70 exhibitors presented their products at the trade exhibition in the Conference Center Leipzig (CCL) next to the Leipzig Trade Fair. The mood was thoroughly positive, even though many industry participants are struggling with economic difficulties and the business situation of electroplating companies varies depending on the customer base. Above all, excessive bureaucracy and regulation were criticized at the Surface Days.
Galvanotechnik magazine followed the industry event with several reporters and will be reporting in detail on the state of the art in the industry and the mood in the next three to four issues.
