Peak efficiencies of 99.2 % can be achieved.
Rising electricity bills are causing many industries and commercial facilities to reconsider their energy requirements. Energy efficiency and energy savings are a top priority and companies are always looking to reduce costs. A photovoltaic system installed on the roof is the answer to the ever-increasing energy needs of a growing business. The photovoltaic system generates clean energy and makes the company independent in terms of energy requirements.
New energy concepts in demand
Delta's range of grid-connected solar inverters is suitable for customers requiring an inverter for home, commercial and power supply applications. Delta inverters are the heart of the photovoltaic system. The inverters for commercial use are available in variants from 6 kVA to 140 kVA in a three-phase configuration. This makes them the best choice for both commercial rooftop installations and ground-mounted power supply systems.
Delta solar inverters achieve a peak efficiency of up to 99.2 % and offer the widest possible operating temperature range.
Inverters for use in PV systems on residential, office and commercial buildings

The entire series is characterized by maximum reliability and compatibility. The M30A of the Flex series meets the requirements of the rapidly growing market for roof installations: compact, lightweight, quiet and easy to install. With these qualities, the inverter is the perfect solution for installations in commercial buildings, but also for larger residential buildings. In addition, outdoor installations are also possible thanks to the IP66 protection and an operating temperature range of -25 to +50 ºC.
"Solar modules are constantly becoming more powerful and cheaper and are therefore being used in more and more applications. This is why PV systems for residential buildings, smaller commercial buildings and parking lot shading require inverters that are optimally adapted to these requirements. The Delta M15A and M20A Flex have a fanless design and are cooled exclusively by natural convection. This makes them particularly quiet and ideal for use in buildings where low noise levels are a prerequisite," says Patrick Schahl, Product Manager Solar Inverters at Delta EMEA. "In addition to the purely technical features, more and more customers are attaching importance to the comprehensive recording and visualization of system-relevant operating data. Nowadays, customers want proof that their energy consumption is climate-friendly, for example by reducing their ownCO2 footprint. For this purpose, Delta has functionally expanded the MyDeltaSolar app and integrated a Wi-Fi module that enables a direct connection to a smartphone or Wi-Fi router."
Greater profitability thanks to high reliability
Three MPP trackers, each with two string inputs and an input voltage range of 200 to 1000 V DC, ensure optimum energy yield. For this reason, no string fuses are required. The three-phase inverter also works reliably and efficiently at temperatures of up to +50 ºC. To further increase reliability and prevent operational failures due to adverse installation conditions, the inverter is equipped with several crucial functions: maximum dielectric strength of up to 1100 V DC, arc fault detection and reverse polarity protection. The integrated anti-PID function prevents voltage-induced power reduction in crystalline solar cells, thereby extending their service life. In addition, replaceable type 2 AC and DC surge protection devices (SPDs) are integrated.
Easier installation thanks to improved design
Installers benefit from the revised design and the low weight of approx. 40 kg. The mounting plate and AC and DC connections are included in the scope of delivery.

High-performance solar inverter
The new 250 kW string inverter with an input voltage of 550 to 1500 VDC is specially designed for particularly large, ground-mounted PV systems in the high megawatt range. Up to 30 DC strings can be connected to its 12 MPP trackers. The AC connection box is designed to make handling the heavy AC cable as user-friendly as possible. "Our many years of experience in the field of inverters for utility-scale photovoltaic systems have been incorporated into the development of the M250HV," says Andreas Hoischen, Senior Director, Photovoltaic Inverters Division, Delta Electronics EMEA.
The 10 MW/p solar park in the Schleswig-Flensburg district is the largest ground-mounted photovoltaic system in Germany with a single-axis single-axis tracker tracking system that follows the sun from east to west. Compared to conventional, static systems, this innovative solar park uses 23,184 bifacial solar modules to generate significantly more energy in the morning and evening hours, resulting in more even electricity production throughout the day. The Lottorf solar park also complies with the latest grid connection guidelines and can make an important contribution to grid stability by providing reactive power during the day and at night.
