Cleaner air at lower costs

Cleaner air at lower costs

Thanks to advanced production processes, a new technology from Donaldson provides filtration that can filter out submicron particles and provide better air quality for industrial sites. It can also help reduce operating costs and increase efficiency.

Better filtration performance is best achieved with better filter media. Traditional filters function as simple barriers that can mechanically separate particles larger than their pores. Thanks to innovations such as fine fiber technology, companies can make their product lines more efficient, extend the life of their filters, reduce costs and provide cleaner air in line with increased awareness of emission standards.

Donaldson's Ultra-Web filters with fine-fiber technology, which have fine fibers applied to the base media, are based on a quarter of a century of experience in the industry. These fine fibers are uniformly applied to a substrate in a mesh pattern. This technology combines extremely fine pore sizes with an ultra-thin fiber layer so that particles in the submicron range can be filtered out - and much smaller than the pores of the medium! Ultra-Web filters can even filter out harmful fine dust on the surface of the filter without the particles becoming trapped in the depths of the filter.
