Energy-efficient cleaning systems

Energy-efficient cleaning systems

Energy efficiency and working in an environmentally and socially responsible manner are key components of BvL Oberflächentechnik's mission statement.

At BvL, the term Smart Cleaning stands for various measures that make the cleaning systems even more environmentally friendly. In this context, all BvL cleaning systems have been equipped with Libelle Fluid Control as standard for years. With the help of appropriate sensor technology, the bath quality is permanently measured so that less water and cleaner need to be used than if the bath were changed at regular intervals. With Libelle Cleaner Control and Libelle Oil Control, BvL also ensures that resources are used sparingly, as the constant measurement of the cleaner or oil concentration in the bath means that the bath is only ever changed at the necessary time.

The "exhaust air management" developed by BvL reduces the amount of exhaust air and thus the largest energy consumer of a continuous cleaning system. For this purpose, a sensor measures the humidity in the drying zone. Only as much air is extracted as is necessary for the process. This ensures optimum humidity in the system and only as much energy-rich, hot exhaust air is blown out as necessary. The energy-rich, warm and humid air remains in the system.
