Development started at the end of 2023. GALVA.AI is a dynamic project that is continuously being developed and improved. It is a specialized artificial intelligence that focuses on electroplating and surface coatings.
What is your goal with GALVA.AI?
I want to provide the electroplating industry with a practical, intelligent tool that facilitates access to reliable specialist knowledge - without replacing people. It's about avoiding mistakes and making day-to-day work more efficient.
What can users already expect?
GALVA.AI provides support for research, problem solving and training. The answers are based on a hand-picked, verified database.
What new features can we expect in the near future?
We are working on an expert chat and giving the AI further training with data. In the future, we will be developing an optical AI for image evaluation, a mobile app and an API interface for integration into existing systems. The aim is to expand GALVA.AI into a comprehensive knowledge and service platform for the entire electroplating industry - worldwide.
What training data was used to train the AI?
The database was created, checked and structured manually from over 500 hours of specialist research. It is not automatically collected data, but specifically prepared content with high quality standards.
How is GALVA.AI currently being received on the market?
The response has been consistently positive. The proximity to the industry and easy access to knowledge are particularly appreciated. This encourages us to continue on our chosen path.
What is the current situation regarding costs and usage limits?
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Different usage limits apply depending on the model selected - the current limit is around one million tokens generated per user per month. Details can be found on the website.

ABOUT THE PERSON
Patrick Böhm is an electroplater EFZ (Switzerland) and founder of GALVA.AI. He is responsible for the technical implementation, content maintenance and strategic development of the site. He is supported by four external experts on a professional basis.
