The standard DIN EN ISO 14713 "Zinc coatings - Guidelines and recommendations for the protection of iron and steel structures against corrosion" provides a wide range of detailed information on hot-dip galvanizing as well as general information on zinc coatings. This includes, for example, statements on the duration of corrosion protection, specifications on the influence of the base material and the principles of hot-dip galvanizing-compatible design.
Part 2 of the regulations was comprehensively revised and published as a DIN standard in May 2020. Important additions were made to Tables A.1, A.2 and A.3.
