LZH spin-off receives Innovation Award 2024

Die Inleap Photonics GmbH erhielt den Innovationspreis Niedersachsen 2024. Dr.-Ing. Marius Lammers (2. v. l.), Dr.-Ing. Felix Wellmann (5. v. l.) und Katharina Haas (4. v. l.) nahmen den Preis entgegen

Inleap Photonics GmbH from Hanover received the Lower Saxony Innovation Award 2024 in the "Key Technologies" category. The prize is awarded to outstanding projects from science and industry in Lower Saxony. The latest spin-off from the Laser Zentrum Hannover (LZH) enables manufacturers to produce more sustainably, energy-efficiently and cost-effectively than before with its Inleap Fastlight technology.

In contrast to current systems, they do not direct the laser beam via moving components, but digitally by controlling individual pixels. The result is up to 2500 times faster laser beam guidance and an increase in productivity of up to 150%, while at the same time halving energy requirements. Thanks to its modular design, the guidance system can also be easily integrated into existing systems. Inleap Fastlight technology opens up new avenues in laser-based manufacturing.
