The Swiss company with a branch in Germany moved into its new headquarters in Rafz on May 1. Construction began in February 2022 on the 6000 square meter building plot in the newly created commercial and industrial area located in the north of the greater Zurich area.
A new, modern administration building with offices, meeting and laboratory rooms, new production facilities, a spacious handling and logistics area and 8 storage caverns specially designed for hazardous substances of different storage classes were built. The storage capacity reaches around 2000 pallet spaces.

With the new building, F&S is excellently positioned for the future in the areas of development and production of chemical products for industrial waste water treatment as well as environmentally friendly cleaners and solvents and is set for further growth - the necessary space is now definitely available. This future-oriented investment of around 15 million euros reflects the F&S Group's determination and ambition for future national and international growth. As an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company, in addition to the fundamental company philosophy of high environmental protection and environmentally friendly F&S products, it should also be noted that the new company building is connected to the local district heating network, which is operated with wood chip heating. The high-performance photovoltaic system will also make an important contribution to sustainableCO2 reduction.
The two founders Horst Färber and Felix Schmid are delighted to be able to rewrite the future of F&S with this new building.
