parts2clean: New solutions, trends and knowledge

Companies from all manufacturing industries are faced with the task of continuously improving product quality and cost efficiency as well as reducing energy and resource consumption. Optimized and adapted cleaning processes can make a significant contribution to this. Parts2clean presents solutions, trends and knowledge for this. The 20th leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning will take place from September 26 to 28, 2023 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre.

Whether degreasing, classic component cleaning or high-purity applications, as different as these tasks may be, technological and social trends are changing the requirements for parts cleaning. As a result, higher cleanliness specifications must be met in almost all cleaning applications, especially when it comes to residual film contamination. In order to be able to offer competitive products in the long term, cleaning must also be as economical, energy-efficient and resource-efficient as possible. In addition, the stability of the cleaning processes must also be proven in more and more cases. "As the world's most important information and procurement platform for industrial cleaning technology, parts2clean offers impulses, solutions and services to adapt all steps of parts and surface cleaning to the increased requirements and make them fit for the future," explains Christoph Nowak, Project Director at Deutsche Messe AG. "Effective knowledge transfer for requirement-oriented, reliable and sustainable component cleaning is also the focus of the supporting program of the 20th Leading International Trade Fair."

Innovations and further developments

So mancher Aussteller hatte innovative Ideen, um auf sich und sein Unternehmen aufmerksam zu machenMany exhibitors had innovative ideas to draw attention to themselves and their companyAguarantee for this is the participation of practically all market and technology leaders from the industrial cleaning technology sector. "Many of these exhibitors used the anniversary event to present new and further developed products and services to the international trade public for the first time," reports Nowak. This includes new and optimized system concepts for degreasing and classic cleaning tasks as well as for precision cleaning and high-purity applications, such as those increasingly found in the optical and semiconductor supply industry, electromobility, medical, pharmaceutical, sensor, measurement and analysis technology. "Due to the constantly growing importance of these applications, the classic core areas of parts2clean were expanded at the anniversary event to include the highlight topic of high purity," adds Christoph Nowak. However, this is not only evident in the system and process engineering solutions for cleaning high-tech components, but also in the wide range of products for setting up, equipping and optimizing cleanrooms.

Core areas of parts2clean have been expanded by the highlight theme of High Purity

Exhibitors are responding to the prevailing trend in almost all industries towards ever higher particulate and film cleanliness requirements with innovative and adapted process technologies and solutions for cleanliness control. Energy-efficient drying alternatives will also be presented for more resource-efficient operation of wet-chemical cleaning systems. Whether for the complete or selective removal of contaminants, the importance of dry cleaning of individual parts is increasing in terms of both cleanliness and energy consumption, which is also reflected in the range of products on show at parts2clean.

Another topic is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of industrial parts cleaning

Another topic that exhibitors will be providing information on is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of industrial parts cleaning. When it comes to cleaning media, bath monitoring and care, water treatment, corrosion protection and packaging as well as cleaning and transport containers, the companies will be presenting new and further developed products.

Effective knowledge transfer through supporting program

Das Thema Technische Sauberkeit wird auch in diesem Jahr wieder eine große Rolle spielenThe topic of technical cleanliness will once again play a major role this year

"In addition to the exhibitors' cross-technology, cross-material and cross-industry presentations, the sophisticated supporting program offers visitors a wealth of knowledge and expertise on current topics in component cleaning and various trends in growth industries," reports Christoph Nowak. The special show "Process Chain Technical Cleanliness", organized together with the CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center), will show ways to achieve the required component cleanliness in a sustainable manner, including accompanying quality assurance using innovative technologies. The lecture program and the presentations on trends and new developments on the action area of the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT) will be complemented by the presentation of the FiT2clean Award, endowed with 10,000 euros, on the third day of the trade fair.

A highlight of this year's program of the bilingual parts2clean expert forum is the keynote speech by Dr. Nicole Smits, Cleanliness Expert at ASML Netherlands B.V., which kicks off the High Purity lecture series. She will provide information on the importance of cleaning and the cleanliness requirements for EUV technology and how these can be achieved. Other topics in this session will deal with requirements and solutions for medical, pharmaceutical and microtechnology, precision optics and sensor technology, among others. No less interesting are the presentations by experts from industry, research and science in the thematic blocks "Fundamentals of industrial cleaning processes", "Monitoring and controlling cleaning processes", "Cleaning in electrical engineering/electronics" and "Monitoring and analyzing cleaned surfaces".
