The decisive innovation comes from the company Biconex GmbH and is a simple process for the metallic coating of injection-molded parts made of PPS (polyphenylene sulfide). The galvanic process produces stable coating systems with excellent EM shielding, is naturally chromium (VI)-free and is already available in a production plant that meets automotive standards. The end product is fully recyclable and theCO2 footprint is only a fraction of that of the aluminum variant.
