With its Notify plugin, MES specialist iTAC Software AG has developed an 'electronic logbook' for production that enables digital shift handover. Even remotely - from the home office or other locations - digital handover in production is possible within different groups and shifts.
Within the notification setup, different groups can be created, for example, divided into shifts (day shift, night shift, early shift). It is also possible to subdivide by department. Subgroups such as production, testers, laboratory etc. can also be created in the groups. A setup is possible for selected admins.
Notifications for the respective groups and subgroups can be set in the Notification creation area. Examples of such notifications could be: cleaning a station, retooling a machine and planned tasks for the upcoming shift.
The respective groups and subgroups are displayed in the 'Notification overview'. The person responsible can select their respective group, shift or department and read the notifications intended for them and then confirm that they have read the notification.
The Notify plugin is easy to configure and intuitive. It is integrated into the iTAC.Workbench - a browser-based framework for integrating any HTML5-compliant applications - and ensures greater transparency and efficiency in production.
