Serializer/deserializer high-speed interfaces for the automotive sector enable the forwarding of data streams for video, audio and communication applications in the vehicle. High bandwidth, reliability and performance are the key requirements for these connections for infotainment and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In cooperation with Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation and Rosenberger, Keysight has developed software solutions for transmission and channel testing for these SerDes applications. In addition, an adapter portfolio has been created to verify the A-PHY standard in accordance with the Mobile Industry Processor Interface Alliance (MIPI) and the standards of the Automotive SerDes Alliance (ASA).
The solutions offer advantages for users:

The channel test software runs on an E5080B ENA vector network analyzer, a PXI vector network analyzer or a USB vector network analyzer from the Streamline series and has frameworks for connectors, cables and harnesses to quickly test automotive SerDes connections.
