Label marking still predominates in the production of printed circuit boards and assemblies. For IPTE, however, the trend is clearly moving towards laser marking - for automotive and also for healthcare/medical technology, energy technology and consumer products. Laser marking offers many advantages over label marking:
- No consumables required
- The process is very fast. The result is reliable and resistant marking. Laser marking meets the requirements for anti-static processes
- Great flexibility in the materials to be marked
- Motifs can be changed easily and in a variety of ways
With years of experience in the field of laser marking, a complete product range has been developed for almost all applications. Among other things, the marking components enable traceability in production and the identification of parts of all kinds. The laser marking systems on offer are
- EasyMarker: Economical and with a small footprint, for small workpieces
- SpeedMarker II: High-speed in-line laser marking system with a small footprint and a programmable marking area
