Arrow Electronics announces the appointment of Margit Tischler as Vice President Engineering for EMEA Components.
In her new role, Margit Tischler will be responsible for Arrow's engineering teams in the EMEA region. Engineering Services is a core part of Arrow's business, providing customers with expertise and knowledge to help them accelerate product development and time-to-market.
Margit Tischler brings over 20 years of experience in technical sales and marketing in the high-tech sector. She previously worked at Intel as Director of Corporate and Worldwide Channel Sales for PSG (Programmable Solutions Group). Margit Tischler was responsible for the EMEA channel teams at Altera for seven years before Intel acquired Altera in 2015. Prior to that, she spent almost 15 years at Xilinx, where she led an Account Manager and Field Application Engineer (FAEs) team.
Arrow has deep technology relationships with its line card manufacturers and has built a broad ecosystem through which Arrow can provide additional technical support. This support ranges from development boards and tools that provide a practical foundation for development projects to customized services and solutions that proactively help customers significantly reduce time to market.
