The Easy PC PCB design software from Numberone may not be one of the "big names", but it is extremely popular with many PCB designers - and has been attracting attention for some time with continuous updates that should also make well-known CAD software providers sit up and take notice. The latest version 26 was recently released, which, with the introduction of the industry standard IPC-2581 and many new Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Design for Manufacture Checks (DFM), can certainly compete with the top dogs.
Several new functions have been added that were particularly requested by users of the layout software, including new output options (IDF exports). The extensive Component Search Engine has also been updated with access to over 15 million components and their symbols (circuit diagram and PCB).
