Sean J. Kerins will succeed Michael J. Long as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arrow Electronics on June 1, 2022. Long will then take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arrow. Kerins has been with the company for almost 15 years and has been its COO since December 2020. From 2014 to 2020, he was Global President of the Enterprise Computing Solutions division. Prior to that, he led the North American operations of this division. Prior to Arrow, he worked in sales and professional services at EMC and in various management positions at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting. He began his career as an industrial engineer at General Motors.

"Sean's leadership qualities and his long track record of success at Arrow make him the ideal successor to Mike," said Barry W. Perry, independent member of the Board of Directors. The appointment is also the result of succession planning over many years. "In addition, we are very pleased that Mike will become Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors," said Perry. His knowledge and skills from decades of leadership and mentoring will continue to shape Arrow's strategy in the future. Long himself comments:. "I am delighted that Sean has been appointed President and CEO after a deep, multi-year succession process." Arrow Electronics is one of the leading technology and service providers in the electronics industry with revenues of $34 billion in 2021.
