With effect from June 1, 2021, Swiss entrepreneur and lawyer Peter Schmid (59) has been appointed to the Supervisory Board of Lapp Holding AG. He succeeds Werner Knies, who stepped down from the Supervisory Board.
"Mr. Schmid is an outstanding entrepreneur, lawyer and consultant. He has known LAPP for many years and will support us in consistently setting the course for the successful future of LAPP. He will definitely be a great asset to our Supervisory Board," explains Siegbert E. Lapp, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lapp Holding AG.
Peter Schmid has been a member of the Board of Directors of Lapp Tec AG in Diessenhofen since 2014.
As the owner of the law firm Schmid Rechtsanwälte in Zurich, Peter Schmid primarily advises family businesses on all aspects of corporate and contract law as well as capital market law. He also acts as an arbitrator in legal proceedings.
