ELTEC Elektronik is changing its company name and will be called Westermo Eltec GmbH from June 20, 2023 in order to clarify its affiliation with Westermo and strengthen the brand name in the market.
In April 2021, Westermo had already acquired 100% of the shares in ELTEC Elektronik AG. The integration process is continuing.
With around 480 employees and sales and support offices throughout Europe, USA, Singapore, China and Australia, Westermo, based in Västerås, Sweden, specializes in network solutions. Eltec, based in Mainz, Germany, offers German-made digital network and communication solutions for mobile applications in harsh environments, complementing Westermo's product portfolio.
It is not just the brand logo and website that will be adapted: the main aim is to better integrate the company's divisions in the DACH region (Eltec, Westermo Neratec and Westermo in Germany). Marco Gerhard, who took over the overall management as Vice President DACH last year, expects this to create synergy effects in all business areas.
