The Swabian soldering specialist Eutect GmbH is opening its own online store to make it even easier for customers to access maintenance and consumables, auxiliary materials, tools and wire feeds. In doing so, Eutect is entering into new collaborations and is also targeting its offering at companies outside the electronics industry.
"In recent years, the demand for tools, spare parts and maintenance and consumables has grown continuously. We want to take this development into account and offer our customers and partners the simple, convenient way of ordering online in addition to the traditional written order," says Matthias Fehrenbach, Managing Director of Eutect GmbH, explaining the decision. No credit card or PayPal account is required for the online store. "Our customers can choose the goods they want and order them straight away without having to enter any payment methods. The order is then processed like any other order and the customer pays on account," says Fehrenbach.
Customers can find all the necessary tools and aids in the online store range, from a simple cleaning brush to a fully equipped tool trolley. Furthermore, measuring systems and protective equipment for the maintenance of laser soldering systems can also be purchased. Consumables represent a new product area. Fehrenbach intends to expand this area in the coming years and is taking a new step here with its cooperation partners Emil Otto and Feinhütte Halsbrücke, who provide the Swabian machine manufacturer with selected cleaning media, flux pins and solders, from ingots to solder wire. "With both partners, we can offer the customer comprehensive advice on the best flux-solder combination. All cooperation partners manufacture their products themselves, which means that the customer receives first-hand technical information from a specialist. Together, we are also able to combine new solder alloys that are tailored to the customer's product with the right flux. This added value was convincing for me, because the customer gets everything from a single source," says Fehrenbach. Further consumables and cooperation partners are to follow in the future. "We keep coming across products that fit well into our range and that we would like to introduce and offer to our customers," confirms Fehrenbach.
In addition, the wire feeders developed by Eutect, as well as the associated controllers, reel holders and solder wire feeders, can be purchased via the online store. "The offer is aimed at system integrators who build special machines outside the electronics industry on behalf of their customers. These can come from the areas of car body construction, the textile industry, toolmaking or medical technology, for example," says Fehrenbach, who would like to expand the business as a module supplier outside his core industry. "Many of the modules we have developed can also be used in other non-eutect systems without any problems. We would therefore also like to make these developments from our company available to other machine manufacturers," Fehrenbach continues.
