Variosystems, based in Steinach, Switzerland, is strengthening its Executive Leadership Team with Markus Nikles, an international and industry-experienced finance specialist, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The financial expert with stock market experience from Interlaken succeeds Raymund Scheffrahn, who left the company at his own request at the end of July. Nikles has many years of experience in the financial management of large industrial companies and worked for many years in the USA and China. These markets are of strategic importance for the company's growth.
Nikles was most recently CFO at Meyer Burger Technology and before that spent 22 years in leading positions at the Bühler Group - ten years of which were spent in the USA and three years in China. The graduate business economist and Executive Master of Corporate Finance works at Variosystems' headquarters in Steinach and reports directly to the CEO.
Following the addition of Stefan Hasenfratz, responsible for the development of the Asian business, and Anthony Pugliese as head of the North American region, the company has now completed the strengthening of its management team with the appointment of Nikles.
